( Q / change in temperature ) today.
Spent the day mugging physics and lying on the bed. Stomach cramps + indigestion + gastric. What exactly happened? Haha. Buildup of acid in stomach.
Now how did so much acid get into my stomach? Orange Juice overdose. I'm serious. Now I'm damn scared of orange juice.
For the extended version of the story, you may want to talk to me. XD
Will be back in school on Friday, unless I feel very good tomorrow. Coz' my stomach hurts like crazy now and I smell of 2 types of medicated oil.

Paramore's music video Ignorance directed by Honey has received hell lot of negative criticism, and for me when I saw the MV (I think about 10 times already on MTV) I said, "OMG I have no idea what this means, all I see is a mad girl screaming out the lyrics and everyone ignoring her... and the other band members don't really get any closeups... which kinda sucks for a band MV."
Guess what. That's exactly how the song is supposed to be intepreted. Being singled out and ignored by everyone else.
And in light of that, I like the MV now, because the true hidden meaning and values reflected of human nature through it and this softrock song are deep. Even if it means watching Hayley dance around madly.
By the way, Cassadee looks much nicer than Hayley coz' she doesn't have orange hair XD.

I'm back from Passing Over Parade, Ceremony, Recognition Day & Buffet Dinner. Here's the stuff I got: Trophy, Water Bottle and Bag for performing well in job week ($652) (as well as the Gold Bumblebee Badge), and also a file with my achievements over the 4 years. The buffet dinner was decent, okay food, overly spicy otah, too-thick chicken, and the choice of drink was limited to fruit punch (that tasted like 95% grape juice), so people got frustrated and turned to the water cooler for drinks. The ceremony was held very informally, which in my opinion worked out well, and the flag parade was held in VS's new outdoor floorball pitch (below the new Basketball Hall).
This has been an awesome POP. I'll never forget it. Then after everything I went home with Guo Qiang and Yu Hui. We all live so near each other (like, max 10 mins walk to each other's house) but we had to take different buses home. Guo Qiang was carrying a lot of stuff which was damn comical. Then we started laughing and joking about a lot of other things. Ah good times.

Have you seen the new music video by Paramore? Ignorance has flooded youtube - you can't find a good quality version there, but it's rocking all over MTV already and its just released.
Just one problem. Hayley will look much prettier if she didn't act like a madwoman swinging a light bulb and dancing with the mirrors thing. Why can't she just like sing normally like what she did in Crushcrushcrush? You can't even see her face clearly and you'd think she was some monster. (Freaky MVs...)

I had 2 QA sessions yesterday, one during chem class and one during elective. The nicer of the 2 QAs left me a nice take home gift. This is a test tube which has a silver mirror - from an organic reaction Tollen's Reagent using Fehling's solution. It's really pretty, and the silver will stay there. Can't wait to do this experiment again in J2 lol. I may even consider H3 Pharmaceutical Chemistry in J2 if I'm interested and not too bogged down by my workload.

I am very pissed.
I have (not once) been asked to give my opinions (or rather to use me as an excuse to let people throw their opinions at me) about a pressing issue. In simple english it goes, "Got this retarded sec2 vs scout want apply IP but never go for interview and say dont want come." ...followed by one or two swear words, depending on who I was talking to.
This generally did not make my day (and the days that follow) very pleasant.
How come got this idiot bothered to apply but purposely no show at interview? Very simple. Isaac Chia that haolian.
I'm not mad he doesn't want to come for the interview. No, you know I'm not that sort of person. I'm mad at the fact that he's encouraging people not to go, yet went for the test round anyway "for fun", armed with the 100% decision he is definitely not entering no matter what the outcome... made it to the interview round and staged a no-show. Waste people's time and resources for the sake of showing off.
Now as much as I'm not the complain-about-the-world type when it comes to blogging, I have been receiving comments about my juniors being idiots... and you can tell I'm not very happy about that.

Channel 55 has become an integral part of my daily lifestyle. There's this hokkien+teochew+chinese comedy at 7pm and the forensics show at 9pm. And I don't just read subtitles, I can learn chinese from watching chinese tv.
Besides that there's nothing I'm doing about my chinese. *shakeshead*

Went to submit ddts today. Saw the new VS Sports hall. Sean Ho said it was a waste of time and space, since they spent a lot of money to build just one more court.
Actually I think the outdoor floorball court (downstairs) is a nice place for camwhoring. I didn't go upstairs, but I was told it was like some other normal basketball court upstairs.
After that I went to verify claims that the new VS canteen sucks. Yeah, it sucks big time. No more ice cream, no more wide range of drinks, everything looks more expensive, and the signboards look damn gay. Uncle Foo is back too (AND HE REMEMBERS ME!!!) but he's the only good thing in the canteen now.

After a crazy chinese paper this morning, I went to watch NDP Preview. This year's NDP was quite conceptual, unlike previous years where they mashed things together and claim its in the spirit of celebration.

I don't know why, but it seems so well organised and easy to study, which is probably why its fun. Not to mention all the colourful reagents haha.

NATIONAL DAY WEEKEND!!!
Today had a wonderful half day and a weird class outing after that. Parkway was so super crowded every food outlet had long snaking queues and we had to wait and wait. To kill boredom we started waving randomly at people who walked by. And we bought bubble tea. And we waited and waited and waited. And then we went Marina Square where we wasted time. Then went to play pool where Michelle thrashed everyone.
Had MC yesterday and didn't go school. Spent the day sleeping and reading. I think the next time if I get an MC unless it's really seriously bad, I will go school anyway. Staying at home is really really boring. I can just sleep through the whole day (which I did... almost)
And since it's National Day weekend and Monday a holiday, it means I got a lot of time to catch up on some homework too.
