Avester's Column 44 So anyway, I taught myself HTML. I went to those webpages, rummaged through different books at many bookstores and consulted friends. (Although the consulted friends thing didn't quite work out...). I started to memorise stuff I'd know would probably come in handy (and some other random trivia that will add no value to your life or mine). You can say that I'm an expert in this field. (you may not, but your opinion pretty much doesn't count) Next, animations and stuff. I've started with podcasting in July 2007. Till today I have 14 podcasts, and I tell myself I have done a good job. One doesn't just get ideas popping out everywhere, one has to think and elaborate and refine it to call it 'an idea'. Remember that now. That's pretty much a short history about my blog, specially writeen for two years of blogging, which is today! Yes, January 29, 2006. And then I ask myself, what the future holds? I can't be totally sure, but I know that I'll rely and depend a lot (a LOT) on my blog. After all, a blog is a place where you can freely express yourself, do what you want and show off your creativity to others! Remember that carefully, and I'll end off with that. I thank y'll once again, my new friends and old, for being a loyal supporter of AvesterX all these years! Cheers!!! |
Need more metaphoric examples? Well, if you have read Flatland, or basically up to Chapter 19 like yours truly), you will remember how the sphere tried in vain to convince the square of Spaceland. Well, he soon resorted to using force (not violence, just a demonstration). If people like Kai Yi won't want me to forcefully, VIOLENTLY demonstrate on them, then abide by the two rules above.

FAQ Session (held very rarely since I'm just not in a mood to do so but hey!)
Are you enjoying IP? Kind of. I guess...probably will give a better reply in 3 months or so...
Are you enjoying your IP Class? Yes.
Are you enjoying your IP Classroom? No...I want a sofa...the other class has one...grrr...
How's the canteen food at VJ? Quite so-so. Like VS. Nothing unusual or fancy. But the vending machines are cheap! *whistles70centscokewhistles*
Why did you go IP? Well, I went IP because...hey! I said stop asking me that!!!
Can I see some pictures? Coming soon. Soon soon soon soon soon...
Why?????? Because!!!!!!
Why did you go IP? I'm not doing another FAQ session ever again. Seriously.
But its a new year! So that means...
1. Exams
2. IP Homework
3. Scouts
4. Sleeping
5. Eating
6. Blogging
7. Computer Games
8. Other Entertainment
9. Going Out
Now let us have a few brain-boggling equations to figure out.
If exams is as important as homework, that means exam=homework, causing an imbalance to free time, therefore the amount of time given to schoolwork is inversely proportional to the time given to...free time...(pun not intended). Therefore, S oc 1/F, thus making S=k/F, where k is a non-zero constant. Because we can only have 24 hours in a day, and some time must be given to eating and sleeping, 24-(S+F)=E+Z (Z=sleeping), and if I spend a total of 1 hr eating meals and 7 sleeping, then 24-1-7=S+F=16. So, if I spend 11 hours on schoolwork, 6 must be free time...no? Wait! Cut transport time, toilet breaks, blah blah of around 2hrs and we get only 14 hrs to spare! Argh! S=k/F, 11=k/3, therefore we gather k must be equal to 33. So...
HEY WAIT!!! DON'T GO!!! I WAS JUST REVISING SEC2 STUFF!!! OI!!!
I understand you not be interested in such stuff. Let me go on. (Remember that exam=homework)
1. Exams
1. IP Homework
3. Scouts
4. Sleeping
5. Eating
6. Blogging
7. Computer Games
8. Other Entertainment
9. Going Out
What's the difference between this and the previous one? Two jokers occupying the '1' position. That equates to less time for free time (once again pun not intended). Okay, that really is terrible.
After Wil Beng's yabbering and jabbering last Saturday about PLC and what not, I managed to gather that exams=homework=scouts. Once again, we present to you the updated table.
1. Exams
1. IP Homework
1. Scouts
4. Sleeping
5. Eating
6. Blogging
7. Computer Games
8. Other Entertainment
9. Going Out
Yikes!!! That would mean seriously less time for free time. Therefore, 24-(S+F)=E+Z, where F=0 (that stinks). Assuming my eating time is constant and I cut my sleep by 1hr to watch news and read the papers (General Paper stinks. Get that right.), we would get 24-(S+0)=1+6+2(from the transport+toilet+miscellaneous), making S=24-9, resulting 13. How very unlucky indeed. That is bad...
A good option would be to stop computing boring equations here and work on my A maths...if I can just figure out what surds, indices or logarithms are...or the stupid x=-b+square root of b2 -4ac over 2a...hey I remembered it...
Blah blah blah blah...
