I was following the online report (updated every minute) on the current F1 Grand Prix and Hungaoring, Budapest, Hungary. Hit by a serious accident by Felipe Massa in Q2, Q3 started quite late. Then everything got quite screwed. (Background information: Qualifying Sessions are to let drivers get their best times to determine their starting positions on the racetracks) Anyway, for Qualifying 3 (Q3), the timings were in utter chaos, apparently no one knew who was on pole (front row), and I was laughing thorugh the report as never had there been such chaos regarding timings. Apparently there has been hot talk on the track that they should not tell the drivers qualifying results until 10 minutes before the race on Sunday. Haha. F1 is really the most unpredictable sport.

I shall do something I don't normally do on my blog today. I shall blog about my mundane day.
I realised that many teachers are under the seriously false impression that I do not pay attention in class. In the past week, we have heard teachers ranging from Ms Ngerng, the Chinese Teacher, Mr Foo, Ms Lee, and just today Ms Ng (electives teacher for Pharmaceutical Chemistry) and even my piano teacher. They have put forth exciting (or rather, not so exciting) and rather unsound and invalid theories about me being under a lot of stress and I shall attempt to bust those theories (Karl Popper ftw!) now.
Actually I really don't know how to prove them wrong if everywhere I go teachers think I'm stressed and inattentive when I really am not stressed and highly attentive. I do not make bad assumptions nor exaggerations about myself, I'm really not stressed okay! But then they seem to think otherwise.
You know, I always suspect that teachers talk about students to other teachers just as much as (um...) students talk about teachers to other students. The thing is, the teachers unanimously agreed on this issue, which I totally do not find to be true.
Anyway moving on. What did I do recently? Got owned by the LA paper yesterday, (last question churned out all the funny answers), got called pretty by Mr Ng (like wth!), stepped out of electives today more confused than ever over VSEPR theory, phone spoilt, hunting people over facebook, chionging Groword on Viwawa (the irony of stressing yourself to destress yourself), yeah that's about all the fun stuff.
This Saturday is VJC's 25th Anniversary. Well yeah, I shall show some college spirit by turning up. (If you're not a waiter/waitress then suggest a better way to show college spirit?)
Next week is Helmsman Week on Careers. Really not looking forward to it, especially since the last few Helmsman weeks were badly planned (speakers who were unable to get to the point, irregular timings, random activities that supposedly link to the subject... like watching a movie...), and the Feeling Fab thingy is the same! Like if they can't have anything new for us to try then they just should leave those slots open. I'm sorry to say this but I'd rather have lessons and lessons and lessons. The only important thing is the JC subject briefing, and HOPEFULLY some of the speakers will be entertaining and good. The planning committee should go by the student's wants and interests, rather than just churn out some weird stuff like all the previous Helmsman Weeks.
The thing is, I feel that I'm a person who is into dynamic changes. I don't like having routine schedules (as neat and organised as I am), I don't like following something, I don't like doing something knowing that there's other things to do after that because that will really make me unhappy. I want to try new things, I don't want to be stuck doing the same things.
I think the following jobs are out: Teacher, News Anchor, Salesman, Buisnessman, Stock Broker, Banker, Hawker, Ice Cream Man, Galong Gunni, Security Guard, What-not.
I'm looking forward to Get Real Week after EOYS though. It sounds promising.
Okay, not too much foresight, I'm looking forward to QAs in the lab. I don't know why but it seems really really fun! (I might be some forensic expert when I grow up, although you know I'm scared of blood and knives after I cut my left hand with a penknife in Sec1)
In any case, I shall maintain a positive attitude and stress-free lifestyle. And if I smile, you smile too.

Here's the latest song out just a few days ago, Ignorance by Paramore from their third album Brand New Eyes. I think it's generally okay, although not very quotable or striking lyrics, the music is quite decent, but the opening is bad. (The opening is to close the closing, play it in loop for the open-close effect). Other than that, it's just another song, and it possibly can't compare to the wild success of Decode.

Here's a detailed blogpost on Fun On Foot today!
Today, unlike last year where the checkpoints were spread out, we had all the checkpoints in CBD. So we decided to run a lot. We had a terrible battle with Lactic Acid.
The Singapore river saw many hotspots as well as many weird questions, such as, How many cat sculptures are there along the river? What colour must a rose be to represent true love? What's the difference between the black Raffles statue and the white Raffles statue besides being black and white? Also, last year at that spot there was a free milo truck, this year we had Plum & Passionfruit Juice...
After that we were headed to Chinatown Area, namely Keong Saik street, which was the red light district of Singapore in the 60s before Geylang claimed that title. The maps were so poorly drawn we kept losing our sense of direction... some activities included calligraphy and knot tying - Dragonfly Knot (ha! Scout!)
Next we were at Little India. We were so tired we couldn't find the checkpoints properly and ended up circling the place a few times. After the Little India runabout, we decided to do one last stop at Central Fire Station before heading back to Suntec.
That led us to running up Fort Canning Hill, all the way to Sunrice to find the checkpoint and all the way back down and to Suntec. We ran because we were not going to make it in time. We ran and the feeling was horrible.
Anyway, Ms Ngerng said there is a chance of us getting 4th because none of us stayed for prize presentation because we were all so sleepy and tired and had bad stomach cramps, leg cramps and headaches we did not know who got what. VJC swept the top 5 prizes in the Educational Insitution Category, Qing Hui, Bernice, Bryan and I took part in Open Category because we were afraid VJ got blacklisted for continuously winning the School Category in previous years.
Anyway it was fun, a good experience, my feet hurt, I have a headache, I have cramps all over, I can't get out of bed after lying down, my shoulders can't move, and I'm hell not going to school on Monday if this continues.
Yay Fun On Foot! We'll be back next year.
PS: For the rose question, the answer is Pale Pink. :)

There is an IH test tomorrow. That's a lot of History and Econs to memorise for a 1hr test.
After reading through the notes, I felt that I have not learnt anything during those 2 lessons for the past few weeks.
I feel that I'm right.
I'm going to fail right? XD

Today for LA we had more Politics. After about 2 weeks of Democracy and Democracy in Singapore, I realised that Politics is so complicated you probably won't see me being some politician in the future.
But yeah I gotta do SIP for Politics with proposal due Week 4.
Week 4 also boasts a Science Test. Science is fun, but its so difficult I should start mugging now. XD
Chemistry Test on Thermochem and Reaction Kinetics yesterday. 11 told us the test was easy and our class got thrashed raped and demolished by the paper. Okay, that was a bad exaggeration. I found it okay. I guess I will pass dismally again. Let's hope I'm wrong for the better.
Ms Ng gave us a nice lecture on Civic-Mindedness today before Physics lesson. Screw temperature taking exercises lar. I want my electricity lessons okay... I don't really want to waste time in Physics, time can be better spent playing with circuits.
Today for CI our group tried to synthesize Aspirin in the lab. We didn't have enough time, so the experiment is TOO BE CONTINUED! I actually realised how important Mole Concept actually is today. Yay Singapore Chemical Science Fair.

Last week's top 10 chart was really really screwed because Michael Jackson's songs dominated the charts. Now that everything is back to what it was... I managed to get this week's hot new rock song, Love Drunk by Boys Like Girls. It actually sounds promising, with quite a nice hook.
