I have never actually been a fan of the Black Eyed Peas, but I find that their new album actually has some really interesting stuff. They can make really good beats, and some of their songs actually have a really good chorus and hook.
Now I got hooked up over a song from their new album. Electric City is a song that mixes a bunch of interesting Physics and turns it into a crazy hook, as well as drawing elements from the team's past and identity.
OMG now I'm doing song reviews. Amazing, huh?

Aw damn.
I'm allergic to the QUEEN of all sugary goodness. Sian. Cannot eat tiramisu.
Broke out in some freaky rash on Sunday and only got better yesterday. Scare me sia, thought I got H1N1.
Never mind. There's always the better sugary treat, caramel.

"Students are frequently observed to be using their mobile phones during lessons. Mobile phone is clearly a source of distraction. It is also very rude to the teacher when a student uses his/her mobile phone during lesson. As a result, all mobile phones are to be placed in a container at the start of every lesson from 29th June (Mon) onwards. CT Councillors are to ensure that this is done at the start of every lesson. The Class Com is to provide the container (it can be a plastic tray)." -Boy

I think that many of you guys are idiots.
You see, Channelnewsasia.com apparently has this poll regarding H1N1 and whether the school holidays should be extended to prevent transmission of the virus. The choices are: Yes, Extend school holidays; No, but conduct classes online (Home-based learning); No, Business as usual for schools.
89% of voters wanted school to close.
Only 6% voted for Home Based learning.
You can tell that many of those votes were cast by students who don't have very good foresight.
If the holidays were extended, then our year end holidays will be cut appropriately. We lost 2 weeks off year end holidays because of Sars six years ago.
If you have home based learning, it counts as a school day, just that we get to wake up 2 hours later than a normal school day, have lessons in the comfort of our own homes and other exciting perks. No year end holiday cut. And you still won't need to do some chinese test or submit Maths & Chinese homework (you can't email some homework XD).
Okay, I might sound cynical but then again, think about that. People are sending emails telling everyone to vote for schools to be closed. You decide whether you think that is the best option.

The way I see it, there are two types of games.
The first type would be a game where it is relatively easy to complete the entire storyline without really getting stuck, frustrated and annoyed since I would have the skill to beat it quickly and it would become boring and would pose not much of a problem.
The other type would be the severely challenging, neckbreaking, seriously difficult game that would take ages to complete because it's hard and tedious and would also quickly become boring and will make me lose interest.
So when you look for a game to buy, which would you prefer?
There is actually a very simple solution to this problem that a lot of console and internet games alike are unable address: PvP with Ranking table.

The Chinese teacher apparently thinks I'm under a lot of stress, claiming that I can do better (which I so totally agree!) in my essays. Of course, some of my essays were done at home, while some other times I decided to do those essays during lesson time, therefore sometimes I score high and some other times, well, let's just say I didn't do too badly lar. Hehe.
Ms Ngerng made us read Marley & Me for the holidays. Haven't started. Read the summary online. I guess it's okay. I need to find an online version of the book, coz' some people already snatched it off the library shelves.
And suddenly, out of nowhere (literally!), came an LA Essay to be done. This time I'll make sure I won't submit late.

Recorded a lot of TV shows for watching when I was overseas, so today decided to just clear the whole lot.
Harper's Island, last Sunday's episode damn sick. JD got freaking gutted.
Turkey F1 last Sunday. Another drama filled race. I checked the results online before watching, which wasn't a good move, since I already would know the result and how the cat and mouse chase between the top 3 drivers would end up.
Chinese Drama. Haha.
Badminton. Aviva Open Singapore Tournament. Didn't record. Checked the results online: Malaysia's Lee Chong Wei crashed out in round of 16. Finals this weekend. I bet it's going to be interesting.
Other than that, I didn't do a lot of stuff today.

I think Chinese Art is one of the bestest types of artworks I've ever seen.
My uncle has a lot of chinese art pieces in his house, ranging from the 8-flower mahjong paintings to different poses of prosperity fish.
Chinese Art looks damn nice.
And I also learnt how to appreciate different flavours of chinese tea.

It's the first of June today, and besides doing homework and going out I'm very bored.
It's the early holiday phrase I guess. I got a lot more stuff lined up in the later half of my June holidays. And then of course, there's always the daily Chinese exercises (which are so damn redundant) to take stock of. It's just irritating lor.
Come to think about it, my sister has a lot of Chinese songs which I can use.
